..a group (even if its intents are 100% in the best interest of the citizens) of bein a terrorist. nd sadly as soon as u say that word in USA ur F'd. that would be y u have such strong oppression: govt fear their power will be taken away by the free citizens. what i can c happening in the US today is the systematic dissasembling of our rights 2 b free, unfortunatly the gov't has most ppl so scared they will do it willingly "for their own good" I believe just like the Jews did under Hitler

I would say our govt is more opressive because our citizens have more garanteed freedoms through our constitution than the other citizens you mentioned above. and every gov't no matter how 'democratic' strives for total power, so they have to more strongly oppress the free and armed citizens because they know one of our garanteed rights is to overthrow this gov't. thats y u c the mass media villanizing any ppl who question the gov't (9/11 rings a bell) now the gov't can rightly accuse...

Nice! I am sure not all gun owners are hicks but I'm sure all hicks are gun owners.
With that said, I wish I could have a gun here in Canada. All I have to protect my family is: a big dog, weight lifting and sharp knives, still doesn't help if an intruder has a gun though!
Why do you think the American government is so oppressive (compared to Canadian/British/European countries) when their citizens have so many guns? (That is a real question not a slanderous remark).

thats not the point at all its the SECOND amendment to the Constitution for a reason, and not all gun owners are hicks. the founding fathers make it the 2nd most important right of the American ppl.. the
1st amend, sits on the back of the 2nd.. w/o guns how would u defend ur rights against the gov't who is armed to the teeth? peaceful protest? ask the ppl that protested the war during the DNC in 68 how it worked out. I do not hunt with my gun, i'm vegetarian, I have my gun to protect my rights
