In the lighter winds at least, weight is always good to keep the boat level in the heavy stuff : )

There's a reason 29er class rules state courses must be windward-Leewards, or else there would be no tactics... It's actually hard to compare skiffs to other boats, imho

Agreed, 29er is just crank on the cunningham. I was always taught the controls on 420s are praactically useless, the way they're designed.

29ers AND 420s are both growing classes, If you want to see a dying class, look at the Laser >> fleet.

29ers require as much tactics as 420s cus no matter what the boat, ull always find yourself in same situations. Theres not more strategy and tactics in 420s just cus its a slower boat
